Meant to be

Déjà vu. This seems familiar. Similar situation, similar thoughts, similar things happen. After many years, some things just never change. I wonder if some things are meant to be. Am I stuck in a cycle, never learn, and never got out of it? Or am I just being too sensitive or thinking too much? I do not know.

  1. Just watched a chinese movie at my bro’s place today. I have no idea what this movie is called, just know Andy Lau is in it…itz about those chinese history stuffs (Lau bei…Ju gok leung…War stuff)

At first, they were holding onto a map, they were simply thinking, if they can go around the map in a circle, kill all the enemies, then once they get back to their starting point, the world will be at peace. But of coz, things arent that simple, at the end, they got back to the starting point, but seems like the world is not at peace yet, and they are going to die soon…

However, they suddenly realized…”It doesnt really matter if the circle gave you a good result or not. As long as it was a good circle, then …itz all good”

(ok…i know…u’ve probably watched this movie already….if not…then SORRY…ruined it XD….and you know how bad my language skill is..i hope you know what im saying …hahha)

  2. Ris! Thanks a lot for your comment (and encouragement). I haven’t seen this movie. lol Not sure if I’ll watch it any time soon coz I’m so out and not sure what’s in theatre these days. Plus downloading is just impossible here on campus. @_@ Yah, I’m sure it’s gonna be a good circle, especially I have friends like you (and those I haven’t mentioned – thx for the msn msg and emails!).

  3. hey Marz, I am not sure the exact details of the “cycles” you are going through right now so what I say might be totally off the mark but here goes… I think the cycle we find ourselves in are merely illusory. Although the feeling of going circling seems avoidable, I believe it is more of a helix than a merry-go-around. We are turning and moving forward at the same time. Sometimes it takes a few revolutions to realize you are not at the same orbit anymore. Hope you are well.

  5. Hahha Ray! thanks for the comments. I really love to see them, and I think even though I didn’t put the context there, you got what I was feeling. I guess a lot of us have been through similar situation/ have had that kinds of thoughts. Turning and moving forward – that’s exactly what I’m trying to do. Similar situation, and given the previous experience, what I can do differently to have a better result. It’s getting late here… 3:43am. gotta sleep. Nitenite.
